Blog Organizer

I have been trying out some new software I'd like to make you aware of. It's called Blog Organizer and it was written by a friend of mine, Kaktusan. Now, Kaktusan is definately more programer than marketer and that's a good thing for us!

He has literally jam packed this software with dozens of features you wont find in most software for blogging and he has approached it from a slightly different angle than you may be used to.

Using Blog Organizer, a blog becomes an abstract thing that is held in a database. What this means for you is that you install this software one time on one server and run an unlimited number of blogs on any server and any domain you want. Yes, Unlimited.

For each new blog you create, you simply upload 4 files to the server that the surfer will view the blog from and you are done.

Then you write posts, schedule content, manage templates and everything else you need to do from within the central Blog Organizer Installation.

Some of the features you'll find in this software are:

• Snippets!!!!Store commonly used text, code (adsense!) keywords, links etc as snippets and insert them into your blog posts with a single click!
• Categories - You define categories and each blog is held in a category with other blogs of the same category. Thus links you define for a category can appear on all blogs in that category automatically.
• Templates - Templates are also abstracted. You can create many templatses and each time you start a new blog you select a base template from your list. Then you can modify it in the blog and the original remains untouched. This will save you hours alone!
• Templates Again! - Templates in BO are so easy that YOU can write your own! Or you can use the included templates which I designed for Kaktusan to include with Blog Organizer.
• Schedulaing. - Schedule your posts just like you sechedule your auto responder! Fast easy nor brainer secheduling!
• Repost. - You can scedule posts to repost after ## days. Set it up to repost after 180 or 360 days and have a blog that keeps bloging and pinging after you move on.
• Also Post - You can set each post to also post to a set number or to a random number of other blogs in the same category. So you could update three or four blogs with one post, but if you have ten or twenty in a category and post the message to 2-4 additional blogs, you reduce your work load, increase your page count and the blogs are still unique becasue no two will have the same content.
• Tags! Your Choice, technorati or del.icio.us, just type in the key word phrases and they will be inserted as tags automatically.
• Keywords - You can define keywords for each blog and with a single click insret them into the posts
• Full SEO! Kaktusan knows his stuff and has designed this software to make search engine friendly pages which means you get more traffic!
• Auto Pining - Just tell Blog Organizer where you want to ping and it will auot ping ever time it updates your blogs. And it will ping for each blog it updates each time!
